Alma was a self-published game I made in 2017 shortly after I graduated university.

I made Alma as a way to share my love of Mexican folklore, a topic that I have always been interested in. The art style was inspired by Mexican folk-art and uses bright colors and geometric patterns. All of the art assets were painted in Photoshop, and the game itself was built in Unity and was programmed in C#. In terms of game play Alma is a 2D platformer that take inspiration from early 2D platformers. Making Alma taught me a lot about the process of making and publishing a product from start to finish, from design to programming to marketing, as Alma was a my own creation from start to finish.

You can find Alma for sale on Steam here!
